2008 Bike Report
Since I posted my 2008 Car Report, here’s the comparable report for my bike. In 2008, I rode 6,013 miles total. Despite all the upheaval in my personal life this past year, I was still able to ride my bike to work nearly every day. Commuting accounted for about 2,000 miles. The remainder was my weekend rides for fun.
This is comfortably more than the 5,703 miles I put on my car, so the balance of the universe is still correct.

Now that is inspirational! You rode 4x the number of miles I did this past year. If I could work out a comfortable commute to downtown I could improve my competitiveness!

That is really awesome. I’m reading a book right now about a guy who biked through the western states on the same jaunt he had done twenty years earlier. Of course, you don’t read about riding bikes, you do it.
I absolutely want this bike, although my lazy ass totally doesn’t deserve it.
